Kiernan Shipka (born Kiernan Brennan Shipka in Chicago, Illinois on Nov. 10, 1999) is an American actress. She started her career as a baby with commercial print modeling. At the age of 5, her family moved to l. a. to support her acting which received a significant boon when she was cast within the hit AMC show Mad Men as Don Draper’s daughter Sally Draper. But before that, she had also appeared in Monk, MADtv and Heroes.
After garnering approval for her work, she has been cast during a number of other television and film roles including Flowers within the Attic, the horror film The Blackcoat’s Daughter and last she’s been cast because the lead within the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. The show is going to be a darker version of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, which was given a lighthearted treatment within the ’90s. Both are supported by the Archie Comics character.
Best Known For
Her portrayal of Sally Draper on AMC’s Mad Men that she, alongside Jon Hamm, January Jones, Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss, won the Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble during a Drama Series.
