Korean Drama Series Flower Of Evil Gets An Indian Remake

Along with actress Drashti Dhami, Bollywood actor Gulshan Devaiah will star in the upcoming romantic thriller series “Duranga“. Pradeep Sarkar and Aijaz Khan are the series’ directors, and it is a formal translation of the Korean program “Flower of Evil.” The 16-episode Korean crime drama was aired from July to September 2020.

Kim Cheol-kyu, who also worked on dramas like Emergency Couple and Chicago Typewriter, directed the series. The lead actors in the series were Seo Hyun-woo, Jang Hee-jin, Kim Ji-hoon, and Choi Byung-moo. Flower of Evil was also well welcomed by South Korean viewers, with its season finale drawing the highest real-time viewers while it was airing. Goldie Behl and Shradha Singh are in charge of the Hindi adaptation of the K-drama. The trailer for the ZEE5 web series was released on July 28.

Sammit plays the “perfect” husband to his inspector wife, Ira, in the trailer. He is a talented chef, a dedicated spouse, and a caring parent. In addition, he kills individuals on the street under the guise of Abhishek, a wanted felon. Drashti aims at finding the murderer as an investigative officer. In her cop image, Drashti Dhami comes across as fierce and determined. Gulshan Devaiah executes his act flawlessly, switching from being unhinged and scary one second and gentle and unassuming the next. All episodes of the series will soon premiere on the ZEE5 Global streaming services.

Story

The three-part television series follows Sammit’s and Ira’s love story as it develops throughout three separate scenarios. Sammit is portrayed by Gulshan Devaiah, and Ira by Drashti Dhami. Sammit maintains the air of being the ideal husband to his Inspector wife, Ira, while concealing a dark history. Ira starts looking into a string of grisly copycat murders committed by the alleged partner of a psychopathic serial killer, Bala twenty years after the latter’s suicide. The series shows how the characters navigate through ongoing difficulties while remaining strong.
