Produced by ZEE Studios along with Shri Ganesh Marketing and Films, the film is written and directed by Abhijeet Deshpande. Actor Subodh Bhave as Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and Sharad Kelkar as Baji Prabhu Deshpande play the lead characters. Since the first teaser of the film came out, it became quite successful in creating a buzz among the audience that increased anticipation for the film. Har Har Mahadev is now set to premiere on the ZEE5 Global platform on December 9, 2022.

The biopic Me Vasantrao is based on the life of Indian classical musician Vasantrao Deshpande. Nipun Dharmadhikari and Upendra Sidhaye wrote the script, and Nipun even directed the film. The narrative highlights the struggle Vasantrao had to endure despite his talent. He struggled until the age of 40. And it wasn’t a solitary struggle; the people around him, his friends, were all a part of it. Director Nipun Dharmadhikari has told the story of how Vasantrao Deshpande became the legend he is today. Rahul Deshpande, Vasantrao’s own grandson plays his role as the lead in the film.

The film is about the Deshmukh family, who live on the banks of the Godavari and earn a living by renting out their old commercial spaces. Naroshankar, the elderly patriarch, is in the final stages of dementia. His grandson Nishikant, played by Jitendra Joshi, has taken over the business half-heartedly. He is simply seeking an escape from the chaos that surrounds him. It’s a story that delves into the complexities of belief, human behavior, and coping with death, all while introducing a river and a city as key characters.

Ekda Kaay Zala delves into the relationship between a mother and her child, telling the story of Chintan (Arjun Purnapatre) and his father Kiran (Sumeet Raghavan), the founder of a school that focuses on practical learning. The bond is so strong that it will tug at your heartstrings until you are completely invested in their successes and failures. Ekda Kaay Zala is a gem of a film that both children and adults should see.

Panghrun is a period drama about a young girl named Lakshmi (Gauri Ingawale) who has been a widow since she was 14 years old. She remarries Ananta a.k.a Antu Guruji (Amol Bawdekar), a respectable kirtankar from Konkan. Struggling with his issues, he tries to avoid becoming attracted to his new wife, who, in turn, craves intimacy. There haven’t been many Marathi films in the past that talk openly about women’s sexual desires. It is unquestionably a must-watch film.
