Cara Mund ( born 1994 in Bismarck, ND) won the title of Miss America 2018 on Sept. 10, 2017. She grew up with dreams of winning the prize, taking Little Miss, Miss Pre-Teen and Miss Junior Teen crowns growing up in North Dakota . She won the state’s title in her fourth and final time competing as Miss North Dakota in 2017, which propelled her to the 2018 Miss America competition. She graduated from Brown University in 2016 with a degree in Business entrepreneurship and planned to review law at Notre Dame University before her big win as Miss America.
