Recently, this year, the Supreme Court has been hearing various PILs. (PILs). One of the cases was brought by a young man from the West Godavari district who challenged the movie ‘RRR’ due to their distortion of Freedom fighters Alluri Seetharama Komaram Bheem and Raju’s lives in their roles as British policemen. This week, a bench of two justices consisting of chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma as well as Justice Abhinand Kumar Shavali dismissed the PIL. On February 17, 2021, Lyca Productions acquired Tamil Nadu theatrical rights for RRR while Pen Studios took over North Indian rights. The film will release on July 30 2020.
